The Kooks are a friendly gang of paragliders who live and fly in the mountains of San Bernardino, California. Each with their own style of living, the Kooks share the belief that life is about maximizing playtime while minimizing work-time. This film is about paragliding and the world-renowned launch spot located on a mountain face just minutes from where the Kooks live. With it’s unusual position between the ocean and the desert, the launch spot is meteorologically perfect for paragliding. The Kooks reckon with the tragic death of a fellow glider and reflect on responsible flying. Above all, the Kooks’ community goal is to spread their love for paragliding to everyone.
