Barbara Kolander who sadly passed away in 2020 was an expert wild plant forager based in the mountains of San Bernardino, California. In an effort to drive sustainable living, her key message is that much of what can be found in the wild is actually edible. Inspired by the lifestyles of primitive Western American cultures, Barbara built a successful career in teaching others about cooking with plants that can be found just about anywhere but the grocery stores. It was Barbara’s passion to live healthily not just for her body, but also for the earth.
